WHEN WILL THE TEACHING ACTIVITIES START AND HOW WILL THEY BE CONDUCTED?
Starting on Monday, 09 March 2020, and until further notification, all the lessons of all the degree courses, normally held in any University location, will be carried out exclusively online, using the Webex platform: All University Schools will give timely notice about the start of the lessons through their respective websites. Consult the website with all the information and links to Virtual Classrooms Lessons with physical presence of students shall be resumed as soon as the relevant Institutions allow it. However, the use of Webex shall remain an option for the entire duration of the second semester, for the benefit of students who cannot attend the lessons.
IN WHAT MANNER WILL THE EXAMS AND GRADUATION SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Starting on Monday, 09 March 2020, and until further notification, all the exams will be carried out exclusively online. Therefore, all exams with physical presence of the students are currently suspended. As regards the exams that require a written test, all teachers have been instructed to identify the methods of carrying out the tests that are compatible with the online mode. Until further notification from the national Authorities, the graduation sessions will take place exclusively online. The deadlines for submitting the necessary documentation for the graduation sessions have all been suspended: it will therefore be possible to graduate in a specific session even without having complied with all the deadlines.
HOWEVER, WE RECOMMEND CONTACTING THE STUDENT ADMINISTRATION OFFICES FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT. WILL LIBRARIES AND STUDY ROOMS REMAIN OPEN?
No, they will be CLOSED until further notification; however, books may be borrowed by request made via e-mail.
WILL THE UNIVERSITY REMAIN OPEN?
Yes, the University is OPEN. All University locations are open, and we also guarantee that adopting all the necessary measures aimed at reducing close contacts between users. The technical administrative staff, teachers and researchers will remain in service. Student Secretariats and Student Services will satisfy the services requested by users by telephone and in telematics mode. CAN INTERNS, DISSERTATORS AND PHD STUDENTS ATTEND THE LABORATORIES?
No, the attendance of interns, dissertators and PhD students at the laboratories and facilities of all Unicam locations is suspended. The only activities that may continue to be carried out will be those declared as essential, undelayable, or those that cannot be postponed, on the basis of a specific declaration by the mentors and / or supervisors
ARE THE INTERNSHIPS WITHIN THE COMPANIES SUSPENDED?
Internships and dissertation activities within the companies are not suspended, provided that, in conformity with the recent measures, one of the following conditions occurs: - the company evaluates whether a specific type of internship can be carried out in smart working mode and decides to implement this method; - alternatively, the company guarantees that the necessary safety conditions for the continuation of the internship activities with physical attendance of the intern are met. In all the other cases, internships are suspended until further notice.
